I made some lattice-pie potholders. It was fun and easy. I used a top layer of fruit fabric, a layer of Insulbrite, and a bottom layer of crust-colored fabric. I do plan to make more. In the ones above, I didn't have matching thread and had to use a darker color.

ReplyDeleteI basically did it the way I do the quilt bindings. They were fun and quick. They will be nice little stocking-stuffers. :)
DeleteYeah you got to do these! I have since had to make several more "batches" of pies. First batch to Dad and each of my 2 sisters. 2nd batch to each of my 2 daughters and one has a boyfriend, so 2 each to all three of them. I bought the Olfa Circular Rotary cutter before the 2nd batch and that made such a difference in cutting time. I throw one layer of insulbrite and one layer of regular cotton batting too. Anyway I love yours!
